  • chia seeds

Hydrating Green Smoothie

Drinking a green smoothie is a great way to boost your fruit and veggie intake.  If you’re new to green smoothies, this is a great one to try!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 heaping handfuls spinach
  • 1 cup frozen mangos
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cucumber 
  • 1 cup coconut water 
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup cold filtered water

Instructions
 

  • Add the coconut water and chia seeds to your blender and allow this mixture to sit for about 5 minutes for the chia seeds soften a bit.
  • Meanwhile, start to gather all of the other ingredients. 
  • Once the chia is softened, add the rest of the smoothie ingredients and blend on high until smooth.
  • Serve immediately in your favourite glass or mason jar.
